Poetic Techniques in Kevin Gilbert’s “The New True Anthem” Essay

The poem The New True Anthem by Kevin gigabit acknowledges the fact that at that place is more then a single confidence of what has happened to the lives of people both English and native aboriginal, also what has happened to the beautiful let down once home to many native aboriginal tribes all everyplace the continent of Australia. In this poem there was a various use of incarnation which really made this poem more intriguing. Gilbert is displaying the hatred he has towards Australia and the white folk due to the way they have treated Aboriginals grow and their home land. Gilbert wrote this poem whilst he was suffering from poverty and was incarcerated in prison. Gilbert displayed his passionate feelings for Aboriginal rights and dignity through poems. Gilbert at the beginning of the poem tell apartd about Mackellars poem My Country to state the differences on their point of view.
